Pakistan is, at least notionally, an Ally in the GWOT. I've got a bad feeling things are about to take a rather serious turn for the worse. Without Pakistan, there is no overland resupply route for our forces in Afghanistan.

Also add in the fact that Pakistan has nukes and a long-standing pissing match with their neighbor (India)…the possibilities are truly frightening.

*EDIT:* I took off on a tangent, and blissfully ignored the question at the head of the article. The international community will respond as usual: sternly worded diplomatic memos, plus the usual side-channel deals that go along with them.

I agree with what you're saying…but the international community also knows about Pak and India. As in, they both have nukes.

Normally I’m against killing but this article slaugthered my ignorance.
