#20 besides being fast in the water that's a pretty big gun on the deck considering the boats size

These are some great corvettes, The norwegian one is actually built as a catamaran, with a kind of hovercraft skirt inbetween the hulls, they blow air into the skirt, wich makes the boat float more on top of the water, so even when travelling slow waves don't affect it that much. And it is water jet powered by two gasturbines in each hull pumping out 12000Kw and the top speed is classified but it can travel at more than 60 knots, making it one of the fastest navy vessels in the world. Armament wise it have : One 76 mm semi auto cannon, 8 Naval Strike Missiles, Mistral anti aircraft missiles, and some 50.cals hidden and decoy launchers. Quite the ship.

And it's built with a strong composite material that really can take a beating, The material is buoyant so it's almost impossible for it to sink, and since most weapons and basiclly everything is hidden inside the hull, it makes it almost invisible on radar :)

in sum it's the perfect countermeasure for Iran's speedboat fleet in the straight of Ormuz..
    a mean lean fighting machine.
    Kudos to Norwegian shipbuilding industry.
